Summer might already be over but that doesn’t mean you should stop having an incredible time.
Autumn comes with its own perks!
And now that my favorite season is finally here, I want to make the most of its awesomeness, so here, I have created my very own Autumn bucket list:

Go to a go to a pumpkin patch –
We managed to do this for the first time a couple of years ago and we had such an awesome family day out together that weβve been doing it annually ever since. It has to be one of my favourite memories to date. So obviously weβre booked in again at the farm to grab ourselves some pumpkins this year!

Bake cookies –
There are plenty of dishes to be made in autumn, but nothing warms your belly like a batch of freshly baked cookies!
Watch Hocus Pocus –
If you know, you know. Itβs like the best autumn / kids Halloween film, ever! Perfect for a cosy night in…. and did you know – Hocus Pocus 2 is coming out this time next year! I absolutely can not wait!
Go Conker Picking –
Go bonkers for conkers!
Conker season is almost upon us! It may sound lame, but trust me, heading out into the woods with the kids to find your winning Conker is like THE ultimate challenge, because you know you need the biggest and bestest one to win.
Go grab a bag, varnish, a drill and a shoelace and get ready for a quality conker tournament – because you know you need to win Β and show the kids how itβs done π

Make Jam –
Iβve never made jam, myself. Iβve always wanted to make the tastiest kind of jam and hand it out as yummy gifts that look so sweet!
What a better time to do this than autumn.
Jump in a pile of leaves –
Of course! Itβs autumn! Need I say more?
Have or go to a bonfire –
Remember, remember the 5th November! Bonfire night is just the best, isnβt it? Sitting outside breathing that crisp, fresh air watching the fireworks illuminate the sky with a roaring fire keeping you warm, whatβs not to love?
Carve a pumpkin –
Obviously itβs on the list! It wouldnβt be autumn without a carved pumpkin or two.

Donate –
Itβs always good to give back and what better time than now. So far this year we have Β given six bags of toys and household items to a couple of our local charities and weβre now stocking up our boxes for our local food banks…. Letβs Harvest!
Toast marshmallows on an open fire –
Aaaaaahhhh marshmallows, my ultimate fave! Amazing little fluffy things turning gooey in the fire, just simply delicious, brings back memories!
Whether itβs at en event in the woods, camping in the field or a little fire pit in your own back garden, itβs a truly magical night to be had.

Dress up for Halloween –
A little bit of an obvious one, but βtis the season for dressing up in silly / scary costumes and absolutely I love it! My favourite holiday.
Make an Autumn wreath –
Bring a seasonal touch to your home. Raid your craft cupboard and get creative with an autumn flare. Need a helping hand? Then check out my diy wreath idea here.
Make Apple Crumble –
A classic. Easy to make and a great way to spend time with the kids. Pick your own apples and make a day of it. We love it so much we even planted our very own apple trees! You can find our family recipe here.
Watch a scary movie –
It is the scariest time of the year after all. Boo!
Check out this list of kid friendly spooktacular films to enjoy this October.

I will update at the end of autumn with how we got on completing the list. Itβs going to be a fun autumn if we manage to do all of these.
What would be on your autumn bucket list? Have you managed to tick any of these off yet?
happy adventures
